ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION GUIDELINES : ORAL COMMUNICATIONS & POSTERS

Language
All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication.

Format
Abstract title - limited to 20 words
Abstract text - limited to 500 words, including acknowledgements. We recommend using word-processing software (for example, Word) for editing your abstract and counting the number of words.

  • Abstracts should clearly state:
    - Background
    - Material & Methods
    - Conclusions
    - Keywords (up to 6)

Use only standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word appears the first time. Use generic names of drugs. Express numbers as numerals.

Posters presentations
Printed presentation format : 90 cm width x 120 cm height (A0). Characters stick preference (Arial, Helvetica ...).
Landscape format (inversion length and width) is not allowed.
Attachment systems are available on site.

Oral abstract presentations
Oral presentation timing : 8mn + 2mn discussion
Selected presentations will be announced on the event scientific program.
Please upload your slides presentation on a USB key and provide it to the BRAIN METS 2017 preview room at your arrival.

Main dates
• Submission deadline : June 17th 2018 (French local time).
• Confirmation of the abstracts selection : July 15th (French local time).

Registration fees
All accepted presentations' submitters have to pay the regular registration fees.

Presentation modifications
If you need to make changes after submitting your abstract presentation, please contact Etienne Jarry (ejarry@comnco.com).

Agreement / Disclaimer
By submitting your abstract presentation, you certify that the content is an original contribution that has not been presented or published elsewhere and giving permission to the organisers of the Event to publish on the Congress website. In addition, if your abstract is accepted for presentation, you have to be present at the Congress in order to present your communication.
The organisers reserve the right to reject any abstract presentations, in their sole discretion.

The presenting author is expected to attend the Meeting and present the poster or oral presentation. Presenting authors of abstracts must be registered participants.
The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.

Before submitting the abstract, the Abstract Submitter will be required to confirm the following :

  • I confirm that I previewed this abstract and that all information is correct. I accept that the content of this abstract cannot be modified or corrected after final submission and I am aware that it will be published exactly as submitted.
  • Submission of the abstract constitutes my consent to publication (e.g. meeting website, programs, other promotions, etc.)
  • The Abstract Submitter warrants and represents that he/she is the sole owner or has the rights of all the information and content ("Content") provided to  4th Annual Brain Metastases Research and Emerging Therapy Conference  (Hereafter: “The Organizers"). The publication of the abstract does not infringe any third party rights including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights. The Abstract Submitter grants the Organizers a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable nonexclusive license to use, reproduce, publish, translate, distribute, and display the Content.
  •  The Organizers reserve the right to remove from any publication an abstract which does not comply with the above.
  • I herewith confirm that the contact details saved in this system are those of the corresponding author, who will be notified about the status of the abstract. The corresponding author is responsible for informing the other authors about the status of the abstract.
