Amélie Darlix, M.D., Ph.D. is a neuro-oncologist at the Montpellier Cancer Institute (France). She was trained at the Nancy University Hospital (Neurology degree, 2013) and at the Montpellier Cancer Institute (Oncology degree, 2015). She completed her Ph.D. thesis on the etiopathogenesis of diffuse low-grade gliomas in 2016. As a neuro-oncologist, she takes care of patients with both primary and secondary tumors of the central nervous system, as well as cancer patients with post-treatment cognitive impairment. Besides her clinical activity, she is a member of the INSERM 1051 Team “Plasticity of the central nervous system, human stem cells and glial tumors” at the Institute for Neurosciences of Montpellier (INM). Her main research topics are diffuse low-grade gliomas and predictive / prognostic factors in brain metastases.
