Norbert Galldiks, MD, is a Professor of Neurology, Senior Neurologist and Senior Neuro-Oncologist at the Dept. of Neurology at the University Hospital Cologne in Germany. He studied medicine at the University of Cologne and Cornell University / Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York. In 2002, he qualified in medicine and received his MD from the University of Cologne. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the Max-Planck-Institute for Neurological Research in Cologne (PET laboratory) he obtained his training in Neurology at the University Hospital Cologne. Furthermore, he is Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine (INM-3) at the Research Center in Juelich, Germany.

Dr. Galldiks has over 150 publications, predominantly focusing on the evaluation of gliomas and brain metastasis using PET, conventional and advanced MRI, hybrid PET/MRI, and Radiomics techniques.

Dr. Galldiks is a Board of Directors member of the Brain Tumor Center at the University Hospital Cologne, co-leader of the PET Response Assessment in Neuro-Oncology Working Group (PET/RANO) and developed multiple investigator-initiated neuroimaging studies in brain tumor patients. He also served in numerous national and international clinical trials for brain tumor therapy.
